About Taylors

Taylors hair studio was founded in 1919 by Edward Taylor. He built his reputation on providing a salon with the highest standards in all aspects of hairdressing, leading the way in bringing new techniques to the area. with his ideas and innovation the salon has become more successful throughout the years winning many national and international awards.

Continuing in the family business Jason Michael, and his team of experienced and creative hairstylists, are here to continue his great grandfathers legacy in providing the latest techniques in hairdressing to suite your own personal style.

Jason Michael

Jason started working in the family business as soon as he left school. He followed his brother Gary Taylor, owner of Edward & Co on the competition circuit. In 5 years of competing he won gold medals in world and european hairdressing championships and many national awards.

After finishing competing he was asked by the british team to help other hairdressers from all over the country to compete aboard in international championships,as well as this he now concentrates on helping members of his team in all aspects of hairdressing competitions to become more successful, as well as continuing his work in the salon.

Gentlemen's Team

The gents team is made up of an eclectic group of hairdressers. We have members who have been with us for over 25 years as well younger enthusiastic stylists, who all have the same philosophy to give the best advice and hairstyles for their clients image. The stylist are experts in traditional precision cutting with creating innovating styling.

Ladies Team

Our ladies team is smaller but just as enthusiastic. Their priority is to give you the styles what you want while giving recommendations using their knowledge of colours and their expertise on cutting and styling, making sure that you leave the salon feeling confident and re-vitalised.
